EMPWR Solutions is a boutique consulting firm specialising in HR, employment and workplace relations law.
Vanessa James-McPhee launched EMPWR Solutions in 2019 and values the opportunity and time she spends with clients to support and partner with them on HR and workplace matters & projects.
Vanessa's career has seen her providing employment law advice, strategy and practical solutions to businesses of all sizes across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Her breadth of knowledge & experience spans several decades, where she's worked for a peak industry body, boutique & national law firms as well as national & international retailers.
Currently Vanessa balances her work time between EMPWR and HIES.
Vanessa has presented at numerous conferences around Australia & has delivered training to both large and small groups of employees, managers & owners on a wide range of HR and employment law topics.
EMPWR (pronounced "empower") is a combination of employment and workplace relations; and just like the meaning of the word, we want to EMPWR our clients so that they are more confident in this ever changing and often complex area. Officially the name EMPWR Solutions came to life when Vanessa's daughter gave her mum the bracelet to the left after she'd attended a school leadership development day.
